Manila Ocean Park

One of the many places that we went to with our Holiday visitors - Tito Geny and Tita Ester was the Manila Ocean Park.

Situated behind the Luneta (Rizal Park) Grand Stand is an oceanographic haven. Hey, you go there at the right time of the day you can even catch the world famous sunset at the Manila Bay.

The place is still a work in progress. The oceanarium is up as with some stores and restaurants. The mall though is still under construction as with a lot of other stuff that they designed this place to be.

Click on the Manila Ocean Park logo above to jump you to it's web page and get a glimpse of what is and what is yet to come... It may not rival the oceanariums of Singapore, Sydney or in some other country in scale or grandeur but it is a Pinoy achievement. The next time you come home to the Philippines, see the place and you may find it more than comparable to others.

Of course, this post will not be complete without the pictures, so click away...

Oh, if you want some music while you go through the pictures, click on that play button below, OK? The pictures and music are not in sync, so just be creative...
